We have a new Guest of the Owlbox on Jan 4th, 2012

This is one of the most unusual guests so far.. *COONOWL*??

We have a guest in the box. It is a Kestrel, at this time not sure if a Female or a Male. Ironically 1 of the enemies to the Kestrel is the Barn Owl. Not sure at this time if the Kestrel is just chilling out or will nest eventually. Stayed tuned



We had and different visitor this past week

Well the kestrel is still chilling out in the box, departure time today was 7 43 so leaving later everyday. But for the purpose of this site his/her name will be Buddy. As I had come with the name and someone else who did not know I had come up with that name ie (sky) said its name should be Buddy. So Buddy it is!!!
